B777 TRI/SFI

Rates and Location:

EASA

  • B777 TRI/SFI + AoC: On Request (Paris, Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Zurich).
  • B777 + AoC without Teaching and Learning syllabus: On Request (Paris, Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam, Zurich).

TRI Requirements (initial):

  • Hold a CPL, MPL or ATPL pilot license for the Aeroplane Category under PART-FCL.
  • Have completed 1500 hours flight time as a pilot on multi-pilot airplanes.
  • Have completed 30 route sectors including take-offs and landings, as PIC or co-pilot on the airplane type (a maximum of 15 sectors of which may be in an FFS)

SFI Requirements (initial):

  • Hold or have held a CPL, MPL or ATPL in the Aeroplane category
  • Have completed the Proficiency Check for the applicable type rating in an FFS representing the aircraft within 12 months preceding application for the certificate
  • Have at least 1500 hours flight time as a pilot on multi-pilot aeroplanes 
  • If already holding a valid type rating: have completed as either a pilot or as observer, within the 12 months preceding application for the certificate, at least one of the following:

  a. 3 route sectors on the flight deck.

  b. 2 LOFT sessions in an FFS or FTD2 conducted by qualified flight crew on the flight deck which must include 2 flights of at least 2 hours each between 2 different aerodromes, and associated pre-flight planning, briefing and de-briefing.

  • If the applicant does not have a valid TR for the aeroplane type: having completed the FSTD content for the relevant type within our ATO.

Process:

Initial Ratings

  • Send an application for your request using the contact form below (Apply Now) for a price calculation.
  • If required: 3 days in a classroom for presenting the Teaching and Learning Part and Written Test.
  • 1 day in a classroom (or CBT) to complete the Technical Theoretical-Knowledge instruction.
  • 5 hours as PF/PM and 5 hours at the Instructor Operating Station at a FFS.
  • Assessment of Competence (3 hours).
  • We will manage all of your documentation and the process with your CAA.
Rating Extensions

  • The process will be determined after evaluating your documentation and qualifications.
For TRI LIFUS

  • You must have completed the TRI Training Course.
  • 3 hours of Theoretical Training (either in a virtual classroom or before the simulator session).
  • 2 hours training in a FFS.
  • 2 inflight sectors that should be arranged in agreement with your Operator.
